Breaking Tackles is a mini blog in the Sports Nickel family run by John Mitchell. John Mitchell is a young writer that has been following football for as long as he can remember. He developed a strong passion for the Alabama Crimson Tide at an early age, and in the years since he has become entrenched with the sport altogether. He was a casual NFL fan for many years, but a Falcons game in the Georgia Dome last season peaked his interest in professional football. His social life takes a hit during football season, as on the weekends you can usually find him in front of the television taking in several games at a time.
