The changing conference landscape has made for an interesting new situation. Gone from the picture (but not forgotten) is the original BCS Buster, Utah, who has graduated to AQ status with a spot in the expanded Pac-12. No longer will perfection be the measuring stick and one of the secondary BCS bowls their highest final destination; now all Kyle Whittingham’s team will have to do is win their division, and then the conference title game, and... I talked about last week how we had a player that was pulling away from everyone after the first five weeks of the season. Well, that is no longer the case after a crazy week five. A few players made up ground and we have a new #1 in the Heisman race this week.
The Heisman race is once again wide open and it’s going to be a fun race down the stretch of the season. There are a lot of players that still have a chance to throw their names into the... Read More

At this moment, we are seeing a player begin to run away with the stiff-arm trophy. I really don’t think there is any question as to who is leading the Heisman race at this point. Everyone else is playing catch up right now.
There are other legit contenders, but I can’t see an argument to be made for anyone else at the #1 spot at this point. But, it’s a long season and you never know what can happen. That’s why the trophy isn’t given out... Read More

In my opinion, through three games, we had three candidates that were head and shoulders better than everyone else. Week four saw one of them continue his impressive season, one of them get injured, and one of them fold under the pressure of a close game.
Now, we have seen a familiar face put his name back into the front runner category with two impressive games in a row. We’ve seen some people fall of the pace and we’ve seen some new sleepers... Read More
