Aside from one bad play, Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson had a strong performance in leading the team to victory, but the Hogs' defense also stepped up its game against South Carolina (Brown/ AP)
We had hoped that the ballyhooed LSU-Alabama matchup would yield excitement. We had hoped that its winner would be heralded as a clear favorite to capture the National Championship. Instead we got a plodding, mistake-filled mess.
Defensively, the game... Read More

John Mitchell: Most college football teams have either already started or will be starting conference play this weekend as the season continues on its rapid pace. I hate to see the season moving by so quickly, but I’m very excited about the upcoming slate of games this weekend and the coming weeks. We are through four weeks, so we have a decent sample size at this point. With that in mind, which team do you feel is the most overrated at this point... Read More

Give me a team that is off the radar, that could make a run at the BCS title.
Zach Bigalke: Team off the radar, eh? Let’s see… for that... Read More

John Mitchell: We hope you enjoyed our preview of the Leaders division of the Big Ten and now we move on to the Legends division. With me as always to dissect the division are Zach Bigalke and Matt Strobl.
Zach Bigalke: Every time I see those division names, I just can’t understand why the Big Ten wasn’t honest in its rationale for the way it split the teams and just called them the Hayes and Schembechler divisions. (Or, alternately for you history... Read More
