The Heisman race is beginning to take shape. While there are still candidates that are on the outside looking in at the moment with chances of busting down the Heisman doors, through five weeks we have established a few guys that seem to be locks to make it to New York City for the Heisman Presentation in December.
The front runners this week feature a familiar name atop the list, but also features two guys that made significant jumps as they rode... Read More

John Mitchell: Most college football teams have either already started or will be starting conference play this weekend as the season continues on its rapid pace. I hate to see the season moving by so quickly, but I’m very excited about the upcoming slate of games this weekend and the coming weeks. We are through four weeks, so we have a decent sample size at this point. With that in mind, which team do you feel is the most overrated at this point... Read More

After four weeks, the Heisman race remain wide open with many candidates still waiting in the wings to make their case on a national stage. We’ve weeded out some of the contenders from the pretenders, but there are still some pretenders out there and some contenders have yet to emerge from the pack.
We saw a player that fell off the pace earlier in the season emerge back into the Heisman conversation with an excellent weekend performance. We saw... Read More

Week 3 did little to dissolve the number of candidates still vying for the coveted Heisman Trophy. Dozens of legitimate candidates remain in the race, but there are a few at this point that have separated themselves from other competition. But, there are still so many players who still have an opportunity to make their case to the Heisman voters, and plenty of big games remain, especially with most teams beginning their conference slate.
With so... Read More

After two weeks, the Heisman race is completely jumbled up. At this point in the season, there is still a lot of potential Heisman candidates that have made early statements, or are looking to make a statement in the coming weeks. Schools are launching Heisman websites for their respective candidates, and we still don’t really have a clear read on the race at this point.
In the coming weeks, the Heisman race will begin to thin out, and we will... Read More
